OVERVIEW
Infinite Growth is a wellness-forwThe Church of the Holy City is a Swedenborgian congregation in Wilmington, Delaware, with a legacy of progressive spiritual thought and community service. Under new leadership, the church sought to refresh its identity and better reflect its inclusive, open-door ethos. I was brought in to design a rebrand that would modernize the visual system while preserving its deep-rooted theological symbolism.
Contributions
I developed a complete brand redesign, centered on a contemporary interpretation of the traditional Swedenborgian cross. The new mark introduced cleaner lines and balanced proportions while incorporating a radiant halo to symbolize divine unity. From there, I expanded the system into a full suite of sub-brands for the church’s outreach programs, as well as environmental signage, digital touchpoints, and internal communications.
Logo System: A refreshed main identifier with simplified forms and symbolic meaning, plus a custom icon set for church pillars: faith, community, unity, and the divine in all.

Sub-Branding:
Cohesive color-coded identities for each of the church’s key initiatives — Spiritual Life, Kinship Unity, Arts & Culture, and Community Outreach.

Print + Digital Collateral:
Flyer and signage for the Space Rental Program, along with branded templates for service announcements.

Website Mockups:
Homepage design concept blending sacred tone with accessible structure, maintaining elegance and clarity.
